Story
In november 2010 a few very good friends and ex colleauges of both mine and Lisa's, at B&Q Meir park, held a community day in aid of Meningitis UK's search for a vaccine campaign in Grace's memory.
Alongside the opening of their new "You can do it" demo area in conjunction with Cafe B&Q they held events to raise money for a charity close to their hearts.
We were lucky enough to have been picked for the day and raised much more than we expected.
The target was to raise awareness as always and to raise £100.00p towards the charity but we more than doubled it!!!!!
I just want to say a really big thanks to everyone involved on the day for their hard work and support and to mention just a few, thanks to Sue Davis, Rose Bowyer, Nick Scragg, Sue Sweatmore and the "You can do it" team. And of course Trevor Shaw the store manager.
